A few months ago, I would not have thought I’d write this post about travel destinations. I had no clue how I could make my dream of working as an international photographer come true. But then I took the step, announced my decision to work abroad and soon I was invited to an elopement in Scotland and to a couple’s home in the French Pyrenees.
So, it was time to make a travel plan for this year. A plan that allows me to spend more than a few days on each location. For me, it doesn’t work to have an intense day of travel and then work the next day. I really need at least one day of me-time, recovery and adjusting to the new place. I guess that’s something most highly sensitive people are familiar with… I want to make sure to be the very best version of myself during my work with clients, so I schedule some time off wherever I go.
This year’s travel destinations are some of my favorite places in the world. I feel so lucky and I am soooo excited to meet and photograph outdoorsy people! This is what the plan looks like:
- January – Pyrenees
- February – Pyrenees / Southern France / Northern Spain / Switzerland / Germany
- March – Netherlands / Scotland
- April – Scotland
- May – Scotland / Netherlands / Ireland
- June – Ireland
- July – Netherlands
- August – Alps?
- September – Peak District (UK)
- October – Scotland
Do you want to book me for a photo session on one of these locations (or another, I am very flexible in my schedule)? Send me a message, I’d love to get in touch with you.
